    The Motor Ombudsman brief

    The Motor Ombudsman and Strategies have worked together for over 10 years, first as Motor Codes and now as part of The Motor Ombudsman rebrand and change of business.

    Strategies were asked to completely redesign The Motor Ombudsman website in accordance with the new brand. All layers in the website including Garage Finder and the Vehicle Recall service were redesigned from scratch to suit the needs of the new business and to make sure that everything was brand compliant. The new website was designed to be fully responsive and operational on all mobile and tablets devices in addition to desktop and laptop computers.

    The full website structure was reviewed and modified at this time to better suit the needs of consumers, subscribers and The Motor Ombudsman themselves. Any unnecessary content removed by our Search Engine Optimisation team in a careful and planned manner so as to not effect any search engine optimisation and the organic traffic generation of the previous Motor Codes website.

    The new website was smoothly launched in October 2016.

    What we did for The Motor Ombudsman

    The website was built on a simple-to-use content management system providing the Motor Ombudsman team the ability to update all parts of the website as required.

    The Motor Ombudsman website also includes a number of bespoke elements of web development including:

    • The development of a Garage Finder database
    • The development of a Vehicle Recalls database with external API 3rd party integration
    • Multi-layered data integration with Sales Force
