Access granted only to those who need it

Physical and network access to servers is tightly guarded. Internal access is provisioned individually — team members are only given credentials for the specific servers their role requires. External access is locked to the exact ports needed for HTTP and HTTPS, with anything beyond that subject to IT manager approval.

Our core network is protected by up-to-date UNIX-based packet-filtering firewalls. An intrusion detection and prevention system guards against a wide variety of web application attack vectors and detects and mitigates DDoS attacks in real time. We also make use of advanced caching and reverse proxy methods to reduce load on backend servers and add an additional layer of protection.

Where is my website hosted?

All websites we host are based in the UK, in a fully accredited data centre with 24/7 manned security, CCTV, intruder detection, and three-factor physical access control.

Will I be notified before any planned maintenance?

Yes. We notify your designated point of contact immediately if any planned change to our network could affect your applications. All maintenance is scheduled outside of office hours, and we work with you to agree on a time window that causes minimal disruption.

What hosting options do you offer?

We provide completely bespoke hosting solutions — from a single virtual server through to dedicated servers and highly available virtualised private cloud environments with dedicated hardware and networks. We'll recommend the right solution based on your traffic, requirements, and budget.
