Business Website
Thames Valley Windows
Thames Valley Windows has made double glazing beautiful across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey for over 40 years. A Strategies client through several generations of their website, they asked us for a step change, a site that would help them overtake their competitors. So that's what we built.
About
A step change, not a refresh
Thames Valley Windows had been a Strategies client through several iterations of their website, but this brief was different: overtake the competition. That meant showcasing an unusually broad product range, dozens of window, door and living space types across premium brands like Internorm and Solarlux, in a way homeowners could actually navigate, serving a second audience of architects and contractors, and above all generating more leads than ever, without pushy forms getting in the way of the experience.

The challenge
A step change, not a refresh
Thames Valley Windows had been a Strategies client through several iterations of their website, but this brief was different: overtake the competition. That meant showcasing an unusually broad product range, dozens of window, door and living space types across premium brands like Internorm and Solarlux, in a way homeowners could actually navigate, serving a second audience of architects and contractors, and above all generating more leads than ever, without pushy forms getting in the way of the experience.
The solution
Rebuilt from the ground Rebuilt from the ground up on WordPress
We approached the redesign from the ground up, moving the site to WordPress so the team could publish effortlessly and benefit from the platform’s natural SEO strengths. Every product from uPVC windows to wintergardens got its own optimised, image-led home, while a recent projects system lets the team showcase real installations, each one a new page working for them in local search. Lead generation was baked in from day one: a visitor is never far from a quote request, callback form or showroom booking, with contact routes designed to invite rather than interrupt.
The impact
Still publishing, still converting, still theirs
Years on, the site is one of the hardest-working assets in the business. The team publishes new project pages every month, from Georgian sash restorations to glass extensions, feeding a constantly growing footprint in local search across the South East. The website has helped propel Thames Valley Windows into a leading position in their market, exactly the step change the brief demanded.
