The challenge
AI's promise, without AI's privacy problem
The eFireService team held years of accumulated knowledge across their documentation, but finding the right answer meant knowing where to look. AI assistants promised a better way, ask a question, get an answer, yet public AI tools would mean uploading company knowledge to platforms outside their control. For a business serving fire and rescue services, that trade-off was unacceptable. They needed the capability without the exposure.
The solution
A private AI, built and hosted by one team
Our AI consultancy began by understanding what eFireService actually needed from AI, then we built exactly that. We deployed a private AI environment on dedicated infrastructure in our secure, ISO 27001 certified UK data centre, and ingested the eFireService knowledge base so the model could answer questions from their own content. The team simply asks in natural language; the AI responds with answers grounded in their documentation. No public platforms, no third-party data sharing, no knowledge leaving the building.
