Often there are many phrases people will use but usually there are a few people will use more. By analysing what competitors focus on and using some of the keyword analysis tools in Google we can quickly come up with an ordered list of the key terms for your business.

Search engines are simply computers. There are some basics that need to be addressed of using your key target phrases on each page of your web site and the appropriate header and meta tags. There are books written about the format of the header tag alone, we can guide you through the best approach.

When Google first started its code name was Backrub and the basis of its search methodology was to judge a sites importance by how other people referred to it, a bit like learned papers which are referred to by other learned papers. Many things have changed in the Google algorithm over the years but this idea of backlinks is still the basis of how it judges a site.
To summarise the backlink method it is that a site is judged by how many links there are from other high ranking sites (their pagerank) that are in the same area of expertise. This means if you can get links from everything to your trade association through to directories in your area it will enhance your attractiveness to Google.
