Strategies

The new Strategies site, developed entirely in-house, is the culmination of a years worth of work between two managers, two developers, a designer and an SEO specialist.

Functionality wise, it features a bespoke CMS to enable managers to edit content around the site, a bespoke CRM system to keep track of existing clients and new leads, and a support system to manage client support tickets.

It is made using the latest standards compliant XHTML and CSS to provide excellent cross browser compatibility, accessibility and cutting edge visuals, uses Javascript to enhance the UI experience, and Microformats to enable accurate crawling of the site.

Under the hood, the Strategies site is written in PHP and powered by Zend Framework and Doctrine ORM and implements the latest design patterns to ensure the site is flexible, maintainable, and long-lasting.

For key searches, we took the phrase "Web Design Surrey" from position 14, middle of page 2, to Position 3 within 2 months. A very competitive phrase with 13 million competing pages.
